A Roman Catholic Parish
A welcoming parish rooted in faith, worship, and community — where the timeless beauty of the liturgy meets a living, serving congregation.
For more than a century, St. John the Baptist has been a house of prayer at the heart of Riverton. We are a community gathered around the altar — drawn by the sacraments, formed by Scripture and tradition, and sent out to serve.
Our doors are open daily. Come and pray, light a candle, or simply rest a while in the quiet of the church.
The seven sacraments are the ordinary channels of God’s grace, accompanying us at every stage of the Christian life.
He must increase,
but I must decrease.
From the choir loft to the soup kitchen, our ministries are how faith takes shape in the ordinary work of community.
Chant, polyphony, and hymnody at the heart of our worship.
Formation and fellowship for the next generation of the faithful.
Serving the poor and homebound through works of mercy.
Catechesis and study for all ages, from children to adults.
